Tears of Themis – Howling Pumpkin Event

From 29 Oct till 12 Nov, Tears of Themis will be hosting a Halloween-themed event where you will get to grow pumpkins, harvest them in exchange for Pumpkin coins which you can use to exchange for magical items to aid you in your farming expedition. You can switch between the characters to accompany you on this task and read different blurbs from them. Each character will reward you with a special item every hour to help you complete your gardening log.

Complete the required pumpkin related event tasks and get rewarded with a Jack-O-Lantern badge, S-chips and other goodies! As Luke’s birthday event will be coming up next, you may want to use this opportunity to load up on S-chips! The badge can only be obtained after harvesting 600 pumpkins – at a rate of 18 pumpkins per 4 hours with no use of magic water, it means needing a minimum of 6 days to complete assuming you log in diligently every 4 hours to harvest the pumpkin.

Update: In the final stretch leading to the end of event, the guys will help you grow pumpkins faster by giving you several bottles of Haste or Magic water every hour. This is certainly useful – there is still hope for me to harvest every single type of pumpkin. In the end I managed only 36 out of 41 types of pumpkin.

It has also been 100 days since Tears of Themis was launched (has it already been that many days?!). To show their appreciation for all the players who have stayed with them, from 4 Nov till 14 Nov, log in to receive goodies from Mihoyo as well as special texts from your favourite boys.

Lastly, HoYo Fest themed cafe is coming to Singapore from Nov 5 to Dec 14! If you’re a Mihoyo fan for either Honkai Impact 3, Tears of Themis or Genshin Impact, here’s a chance to taste a unique menu fashioned after your favourite game in person and grab their official merchandise while at it. Here are the dates for each of the games – Honkai Impact 3 (Nov 5 – Nov 16), Tears of Themis (Nov 19 – Nov 30) and Genshin Impact (Dec 4 – Dec 14).

Afternote: What can I say? I went to visit Aniplus Cafe a few days back and in a whirlwind journey of sorts, my eldest kid is actually starting work there to support the Hoyo Fest from tomorrow! Praise the Lord! Here are the photos from the Tears of Themis collab.

Marius and Vyn standees greets you as you enter the cafe. There is also a standee giveaway at the end of the event where four lucky ladies will go home with their favourite boys.
Marius’ Candlelight Dinner without the candles
Luke’s homemade tomato omelette rice
Vyn’s tea garden surprise ala macha pudding and Luke’s shape of memories ala salted caramel cake
Finally the adorable chibis that beckon you to take them home though it’d be a disservice to other attorneys to do so!

Overall it was great to be part of the first ever HoYoFest in Singapore and I look forward to the event every year. I’ve become friends with the young staff at Aniplus Cafe and we enjoy swooning over our favourite characters together.
